Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end close, financial reporting, and audits
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies
- Mentor and develop high-performing accounting team members
- Drive process improvements and automation in financial systems
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 8+ years progressive accounting experience
- Proven expertise in corporate accounting and financial reporting
- Strong leadership skills managing teams of 5+ professionals
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Experience in publicly traded company reporting requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; MBA preferred
