Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting
- Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Lead month-end/year-end close processes and ensure SOX compliance
- Prepare board-level financial statements and executive dashboards
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Manage treasury operations and banking relationships
- Lead financial audit processes and regulatory reporting
- Mentor finance team members and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA/CPA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience in corporate settings
- 5+ years in controller or senior management role
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel modeling
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 5+
- Agribusiness or manufacturing industry experience highly valued
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
