Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end close processes and ensure GAAP compliance
- Lead financial reporting and analysis for executive stakeholders
- Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes across departments
- Drive process improvements in financial operations
- Lead a team of 4 accounting professionals
- Collaborate with investment teams on portfolio valuation
Qualifications
- CPA certification required
- 8+ years in corporate accounting with 3+ years in controller role
- Expertise in financial reporting and SEC filings
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (NetSuite preferred)
- Experience in investment or financial services industry
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- MBA or Master's in Finance preferred
