Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting functions including month-end close, financial reporting, and budget management
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX and GAAP standards
- Analyze financial data to drive strategic business decisions and operational improvements
- Manage treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, and banking relationships
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Collaborate with executive team on financial strategy and risk management
- Mentor finance team members and optimize department workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in corporate controller roles
- CPA certification required with active Colorado license
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel modeling
- Proven track record in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities with executive presence
