Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end closing and financial reporting
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Lead budgeting processes and variance analysis for 15+ departments
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll systems
- Collaborate with executive team on strategic financial planning
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 5+ years corporate accounting experience in Milwaukee
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of Wisconsin financial regulations
- Experience managing teams of 3+ professionals
- Proven track record of process optimization
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
