We seek a strategic Corporate Financial Controller to oversee all accounting functions, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive financial strategy for our $2B asset portfolio. This pivotal role requires a forward-thinking leader who can optimize financial operations while supporting our rapid growth in the Florida market.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with SOX compliance
- Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Manage financial reporting for executive leadership and board of directors
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Coordinate external audits and tax compliance initiatives
- Drive process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor finance team members and develop department talent
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CPA/MBA required
- 10+ years corporate accounting experience with 5+ in leadership
- Expertise in SEC reporting and multi-state compliance
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory nuances
- Experience in financial services or real estate preferred
- Proven track record of process optimization
