Responsibilities
- Oversee all corporate accounting functions including month-end/quarter-end close processes and financial reporting
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and financial integrity
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team of 5 professionals
- Drive process improvements through automation and technology solutions
- Present financial insights to executive leadership and board committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA/CPA preferred)
- Minimum 8 years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in leadership
- Deep expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and corporate tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and financial analytics tools
- Proven track record of managing complex financial operations and teams
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate data to strategy
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to operational detail
