Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end close, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Lead financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights for executive decision-making
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Coordinate with external auditors and financial institutions
- Optimize cash flow management and treasury operations
- Mentor finance team members to drive performance excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required)
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate settings
- Proven expertise in financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit coordination
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven corporate environments
