Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies
- Manage financial reporting packages for executive leadership and board members
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations
- Conduct variance analysis and provide strategic financial recommendations
- Coordinate annual audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling initiatives
- Mentor and develop accounting team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA required
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate settings
- 5+ years in controller or senior management role
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in renewable energy or manufacturing industry preferred
