Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with 100% accuracy
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and risk management frameworks
- Manage financial reporting packages for executive stakeholders and board members
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll departments
- Drive process optimization initiatives using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Coordinate external audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles with department heads
- Mentor finance team members and foster continuous improvement culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience in corporate environments
- 5+ years in leadership roles managing teams of 5+
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in public accounting or large corporate settings
