Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead financial reporting for executive stakeholders and external partners
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Analyze financial trends and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing teams
- Collaborate with department heads on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Mentor junior finance staff and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience in corporate environments
- CPA certification required with active California license
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of process optimization and cost reduction
