Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology roadmap aligned with organizational goals and market trends.
- R&D Leadership: Lead high-impact R&D initiatives focused on Generative AI, Quantum Computing, and Edge IoT integration.
- Executive Collaboration: Collaborate with C-suite executives to identify high-impact strategic opportunities and drive digital transformation.
- Infrastructure Design: Oversee the design and deployment of scalable cloud infrastructure supporting next-gen workloads and security protocols.
- Thought Leadership: Establish thought leadership by publishing white papers and speaking at industry conferences on future tech trends.
- Budget Management: Manage a budget of $2M+ for technology acquisition, personnel, and strategic partnerships.
- Team Development: Mentor senior engineering talent and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or AI strategy, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (PhD preferred).
- Technical Expertise: Deep expertise in Machine Learning algorithms, Large Language Models (LLMs), and cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Visionary Mindset: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in high-growth environments and translating abstract concepts into actionable strategies.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on long-term scalability and efficiency.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences including investors and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: Professional certifications in Cloud Architecture (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect) or AI/ML are highly desirable.
