Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design of scalable, high-performance AI systems aligned with the 2026 technology roadmap.
- Define and implement best practices for machine learning infrastructure, data pipelines, and model deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Design) to translate future business requirements into technical specifications.
- Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies to ensure Apex Horizon remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Oversee the security, privacy, and ethical implications of deployed AI models.
- Present architectural proposals to executive stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a Lead Architect or Principal Engineer role.
- Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX) and distributed computing systems (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP).
- Strong understanding of the current and future landscape of AI, including LLMs, generative AI, and neural-symbolic integration.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale systems under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for solving ambiguous problems and a forward-thinking mindset regarding the role of AI in 2026 and beyond.
