Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Define KPIs for measuring long-term technological impact
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, product management, or technology consulting
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (e.g., blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Deep understanding of SaaS, IoT, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic tech initiatives (2009-2023)
- Security clearance preferred (government contracts)
