Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps across quantum, AI, AR/VR, and sustainable tech domains
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 3-year impact horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Translate complex technical concepts into executive-level business strategies
- Drive innovation governance frameworks for ethical AI development
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets for future technology incubation projects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of scaling tech solutions from concept to market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or spatial computing
- Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, NIST AI RMF)
- Fluency in tech forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
