Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with 2026 market impact
- Develop and maintain a technology roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Analyze competitive landscapes and identify disruptive opportunities for innovation
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to prototype and validate future technology integrations
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and influence technology investment decisions
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Deep understanding of AI, blockchain, IoT, or other transformative tech domains
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong presentation skills with experience communicating to executive audiences
