Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and emerging scientific breakthroughs
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, generative AI, and Web3 infrastructure
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts and innovation strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Guide ethical frameworks for AI/ML deployment and quantum security protocols
- Mentor a team of 15+ research scientists and technology architects
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 10+ years in R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neural network optimization, or distributed consensus protocols
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) or equivalent industry impact
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Strong background in technology ethics and responsible innovation frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
