Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and develop 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present technology forecasts and adoption strategies to C-suite executives and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators to scout breakthrough innovations
- Develop KPI frameworks for measuring technology ROI and competitive advantage
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends and disruption scenarios
- Manage a $2M innovation budget for pilot programs and prototype development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least two enterprise-scale tech innovations
- Expertise in emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, Web3, sustainable tech)
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech innovation ecosystem
