Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap for emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype and validate future technology applications
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and assess competitive implications
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage innovation portfolio allocation across emerging technology verticals
- Author thought leadership content on future technology implications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related field with 8+ years in tech strategy
- Proven track record in emerging technology evaluation and commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum AI, biocomputing, metaverse infrastructure)
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Experience building innovation ecosystems and managing R&D budgets >$5M
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry publications
- Certification in emerging technology assessment (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle methodology)
