Responsibilities
- Architect 10-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and neurotech integration
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives targeting 2026+ breakthrough innovations
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses of emerging tech trends across 15+ industries
- Develop patent strategies for foundational technologies in post-quantum cryptography
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and board of directors
- Forge partnerships with DARPA, NASA, and global academic innovation hubs
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology anthropologists
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Systems Engineering with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies or AI alignment
- Proven track record of scaling technology ventures from concept to market
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, AGI safety, or neuro-interfaces
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
- Experience securing >$50M in R&D funding from government/private sources
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or Haskell preferred)
