Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, biotech interfaces)
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Present strategic briefings to investors, board members, and industry stakeholders
- Establish innovation frameworks for ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech practices
- Manage a $5M+ R&D budget with measurable ROI milestones
- Mentor a team of 5+ futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership, with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record launching at least two breakthrough products/services post-2020
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, generative AI ethics, carbon-negative tech
- Published author or keynote speaker at premier tech conferences (WSJ, CES, etc.)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and technology forecasting methodologies
- Experience scaling innovation teams from 5 to 50+ professionals
- Security clearance (TS/SCI) or equivalent vetting process clearance
