Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ innovations
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Partner with C-suite to align tech initiatives with business objectives
- Manage cross-functional innovation labs and pilot programs
- Represent company at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
- Drive patent strategy and IP protection for emerging technologies
- Build and lead a team of futurist researchers and technology scouts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Executive-level stakeholder management experience
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (e.g., IEEE, Nature)
- Advanced degree in relevant STEM field or MBA with tech specialization
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Deep network of relationships with research institutions and VCs
