Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AI ethics) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to secure buy-in and resource allocation for innovation initiatives
- Monitor global tech landscape through patent analysis, academic partnerships, and startup scouting
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and scenario planning
- Establish KPIs to measure technology adoption impact and ROI
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data sets
- Strong project management credentials with PMP or similar certification
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry conferences
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and technology forecasting methodologies
