Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026+ technology roadmap, forecasting market impacts and adoption patterns
- Direct cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and neurotech integration
- Develop partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for emerging tech policy
- Conduct scenario planning for technological disruptions across healthcare, energy, and transportation
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Manage $50M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Author white papers on future tech implications for global summits and publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology implementation
- Experience with foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi technique)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Management
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Security clearance eligibility for government collaboration projects
