Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential through 2026+
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate innovation priorities into corporate strategy
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform technology investment decisions
- Champion adoption of transformative technologies across product and operational domains
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and tech literacy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, R&D, or innovation management
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating technology trends into commercial opportunities
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS Engineering, or equivalent experience)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience presenting to executive leadership and boards of directors
- Strong network within venture capital, academia, and tech innovation ecosystems
- Certification in emerging technologies or strategic foresight (preferred)
