Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to inform strategic planning
- Develop and execute 3-5 year innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling futuristic solutions
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and tech startups
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory impacts on emerging tech
- Drive cultural adoption of innovation methodologies across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or product innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching disruptive technologies or products
- Expertise in futures thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Strong background in at least one emerging tech domain (AI, blockchain, IoT)
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business preferred
- Certification in innovation management or futures studies advantageous
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
