Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Future Tech Strategist to lead our '2026 Horizon' initiative. As the technology landscape evolves at an unprecedented pace, we need a thought leader who can anticipate trends, bridge the gap between emerging tech and business goals, and architect the roadmap for the next decade.
In this role, you will define the technological strategies that will define our products and services in 2026 and beyond. You will work closely with R&D, executive leadership, and product teams to ensure we remain at the cutting edge of innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic vision for the 2026 Horizon, identifying key technological trends (e.g., Quantum Computing, AGI, Sustainable Tech).
- Develop and maintain a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and market shifts.
- Conduct deep-dive research and feasibility studies on emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts.
- Communicate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders and board members.
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech innovators to stay ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in strategic technology planning, R&D, or high-level consulting.
- Proven experience in leading innovation initiatives and managing long-term strategic projects.
- Deep understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and future computing paradigms.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
