Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead R&D initiatives for autonomous systems and human-machine interfaces
- Drive innovation through strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Translate emerging tech trends into actionable business opportunities
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and cross-functional teams of 15+ engineers
- Present technology strategy to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Champion ethical AI development and sustainable tech practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record scaling AI/ML solutions to enterprise levels
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Executive experience managing innovation portfolios and R&D budgets >$3M
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or TechCrunch
- Experience with agile development in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, defense)
