Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech convergence) and assess commercial viability
- Design strategic partnerships with startups, research labs, and industry consortiums to accelerate innovation
- Develop investment frameworks for emerging technology ventures using scenario modeling and risk analysis
- Present technology strategy to executive stakeholders and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology deployment and responsible innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture capital with focus on emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with specialization in innovation management
- Proven track record of launching technology initiatives with $50M+ commercial impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized systems, or climate tech
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Tech Assessment)
- Experience working with Fortune 500 companies or global tech ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
