Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and develop strategic roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate breakthrough technologies
- Secure partnerships with research institutions and tech startups for collaborative R&D
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused prioritization
- Develop talent strategies to attract and retain specialists in future-facing technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or sustainable tech
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and cross-functional teams
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in tech strategy or innovation management
