Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to inform 2026-2030 strategic plans
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing next-generation technology solutions
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Present strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget allocation for future technology initiatives
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Mentor innovation teams on emerging technology adoption frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record developing and executing multi-year tech roadmaps
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, neurotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futurism
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
