- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board members securing $500M+ annual funding
- Build partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and NASA labs to accelerate innovation adoption
- Mentor a team of 15+ engineers and researchers in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record commercializing disruptive technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in regulatory frameworks for future tech (e.g., quantum encryption standards)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals on technology evolution
- Experience securing $100M+ R&D budgets and managing P&L for innovation divisions
- Proficiency in futures analysis tools (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
