Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy framework aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and evaluating emerging tech opportunities (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech fusion)
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for tech adoption curves
- Present strategic recommendations to executive board with ROI projections
- Manage $50M innovation portfolio allocation across 3-year horizon
- Establish industry partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA, and global tech consortia
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proof methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Proven track record in commercializing futuristic technologies (portfolio required)
- Deep understanding of exponential tech trends (Web3, AGI, sustainable tech)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (STEEP, Delphi method)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or similar designation preferred
- Executive presence with board-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
