Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends and socio-economic shifts to develop 2026+ innovation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable R&D priorities
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and integrate emerging startups into our ecosystem
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive technologies and market evolution
- Design and prototype future-facing solutions using rapid iteration methodologies
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with data-backed future impact assessments
- Manage a $2M innovation budget for experimental projects and pilot programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, technology forecasting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products/services with measurable market impact
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence trends
- Exceptional storytelling skills to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist research or implemented innovation strategies
- Ability to obtain US government security clearance for sensitive projects
