- Design cross-functional innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for emerging tech disruptions (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Partner with C-suite to embed future-proofing principles into corporate strategy
- Curate and manage an external futurist network for continuous intelligence gathering
- Drive R&D investments in breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year horizons
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight or corporate innovation roles
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Experience with technology impact assessment frameworks
