Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing, AI governance, and biotech convergence
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-ready solutions with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Present strategic foresight insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Design innovation sprints that translate future trends into immediate business opportunities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to extend our predictive capabilities
- Author thought leadership pieces on the future of work, AI ethics, and sustainable technology
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology convergence
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous strategic challenges
- Published work on future trends or technology forecasting (portfolio required)
- Proficiency in foresight tools like Delphi method, STEEP analysis, and trend mapping
