Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and emerging technologies to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for 2026+ market landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and priorities
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and predictive models for executive decision-making
- Establish innovation pipelines for breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year horizons
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and socio-cultural transformations affecting industry trajectories
- Advise on organizational adaptation strategies for quantum computing and AI-driven disruption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, and climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future scenarios
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or strategic impact
