Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2026
- Develop quantitative and qualitative frameworks for trend forecasting and scenario planning
- Translate complex future insights into strategic roadmaps for product development and market positioning
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling visualizations and narrative storytelling
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions and validate market readiness
- Author thought leadership pieces on future trends and their business implications
- Maintain a dynamic knowledge base of global innovation signals and competitive intelligence
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, market research, or innovation analysis with proven future-forecasting track record
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical modeling techniques
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive presence
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and their societal impacts
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
