Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends and market disruptions to develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities at the intersection of emerging technologies
- Author visionary whitepapers and thought leadership content positioning the company as a 2026 technology pioneer
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate futuristic concepts through rapid experimentation cycles
- Develop competitive intelligence frameworks to anticipate shifts in the global technology landscape
- Advise executive leadership on technology investments and M&A opportunities for 2026 market positioning
- Represent the company at global tech forums and futurist conferences to establish industry influence
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and capitalizing on emerging tech trends
- Deep expertise in at least three of these domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong presentation skills with experience delivering keynotes at major tech conferences
- Portfolio demonstrating thought leadership (published articles, patents, or validated innovations)
