Job Description
Are you ready to build the infrastructure of tomorrow? Nexus Future Labs is seeking a visionary Lead Quantum Systems Architect to spearhead our Project 2026 breakthrough roadmap. In this pivotal role, you will design scalable, fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures that will redefine the boundaries of computation.
We are not just preparing for the future; we are actively engineering it. As a key member of our elite engineering team, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical software implementation, ensuring our systems are robust, scalable, and ready for commercial deployment by 2026.
Responsibilities
- Architect Quantum Circuits: Design complex quantum circuit layouts using industry-standard SDKs like Qiskit and Cirq to solve high-value computational problems.
- Optimize Error Correction: Develop and implement advanced error correction protocols to maintain qubit coherence and system stability.
- System Integration: Collaborate closely with hardware engineering teams to align software layers with physical quantum processor constraints.
- Technical Leadership: Define the technical vision and architectural standards for the 2026 initiative, guiding a team of junior quantum software engineers.
- Performance Tuning: Analyze system performance bottlenecks and optimize algorithms for quantum supremacy in real-world scenarios.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in quantum software development or quantum algorithm research.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and familiarity with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (e.g., AWS Braket, Azure Quantum).
- Theoretical Knowledge: Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability, quantum mechanics, and superposition principles.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional technical teams and delivering complex projects on tight deadlines.
