Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor 15+ night shift staff across warehouse, inventory, and distribution functions
- Implement process improvements to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, safety protocols, and corporate governance standards
- Coordinate with day shift teams for seamless handover and operational continuity
- Monitor KPIs including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and safety metrics
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party logistics partners
- Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective action plans
- Prepare daily/weekly operational reports for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse/distribution operations management
- Proven leadership experience with overnight shift teams (minimum 3 years)
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety management credentials
- Excellent problem-solving abilities under high-pressure scenarios
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean driving record
