Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for multinational operations
- Lead financial reporting and analysis for executive stakeholders and board members
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Manage accounting team performance during night shift operations
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities
- Drive process improvements in financial systems and reporting
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives across global divisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA/CPA preferred)
- 8+ years in corporate accounting with 3+ years in leadership
- SOX compliance and multinational financial reporting expertise
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel modeling
- Experience managing remote/distributed accounting teams
- Night shift availability and adaptability to flexible schedules
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Energy industry experience highly desirable
