Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor all night shift warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control
- Oversee transportation logistics including truck dispatching, route optimization, and driver scheduling
- Implement and maintain safety protocols ensuring OSHA compliance during night operations
- Generate and analyze operational reports to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Lead cross-functional communication between night shift teams and day shift leadership
- Manage inventory reconciliation systems and resolve discrepancies
- Train and mentor new night shift employees on operational procedures
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in logistics or warehouse management with night shift exposure
- Proficiency in WMS, TMS, and inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret operational data and KPIs
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and crisis management experience
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours
