We're seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Business Analyst to translate complex business requirements into actionable insights. This hybrid role (3 days onsite/2 remote) offers flexible hours while working on high-impact projects that shape policy decisions. You'll collaborate with senior stakeholders across departments, driving data-informed strategies that advance public sector initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and requirements to identify improvement opportunities
- Develop detailed documentation including process flows, user stories, and technical specifications
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and translate feedback into actionable deliverables
- Create and maintain data models, dashboards, and reporting tools
- Validate solutions against business objectives through testing and UAT
- Support cross-functional teams in implementing process optimization initiatives
- Monitor KPIs and provide regular progress updates to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Data Science, or related field
- 3+ years of business analysis experience in government or consulting
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent) preferred
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Clearable background check required
