Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to identify business needs and define functional requirements.
- Data Analysis: Analyze current business processes and data flows to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
- Documentation: Create detailed user stories, use cases, and functional specifications documents using standard modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the liaison between business units and the development team, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Gap Analysis: Perform gap analysis between current systems and desired business outcomes to recommend solutions.
- Testing Support: Collaborate with QA teams to validate solutions and ensure requirements are met.
- Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and status updates for project managers and executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in the financial services or healthcare sectors.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Experience with project management software (Jira, Asana) and wireframing tools.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be available for a minimum of 15-20 hours per week.
