Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Documentation: Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flow diagrams using Visio or similar tools.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain clear, concise reports and presentations to communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
- Project Support: Assist project managers in tracking project milestones and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend solutions that enhance business efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced functions), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time capacity.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Sacramento, CA.
