Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze detailed business requirements for software and process improvement projects.
- Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Create clear and concise documentation, including user stories, process maps, wireframes, and functional specifications.
- Act as the primary liaison between technical developers and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Assist in the testing and quality assurance phases by creating test cases and documenting defects.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure projects stay on track.
- Provide training and support documentation to end-users post-implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, with a preference for part-time or freelance experience.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to deconstruct complex business problems into manageable solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and SQL is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a remote or hybrid setting.
