Responsibilities
- Project Lifecycle Management: Lead the end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure for assigned initiatives.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals.
- Resource Allocation: Optimize team workloads and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and cost-effectiveness.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential bottlenecks early and implement strategies to minimize project risks.
- Reporting: Generate and present comprehensive progress reports to senior leadership on a bi-weekly basis.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the government or technology sector.
- Certification: PMP, CAPM, or equivalent professional certification is strongly preferred.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to Washington, DC.
- Tools: Proficient in project management software such as MS Project, Asana, or Jira.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical data into actionable insights.
