Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models designed for the post-2026 era.
- Lead the R&D strategy for quantum algorithm development, focusing on optimization and sampling problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate quantum processors into existing cloud infrastructures.
- Design robust error mitigation protocols to ensure data integrity in noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) environments.
- Conduct patentable research and publish findings in leading scientific journals.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and rigorous scientific inquiry.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in designing high-scale distributed systems and machine learning pipelines.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Qiskit or Cirq.
- Deep understanding of quantum computing paradigms, including superposition, entanglement, and quantum gates.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams through complex, ambiguous research projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
