Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams from inception to delivery, ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and roadblocks to minimize impact on deliverables.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings using Agile methodologies.
- Communicate project status, updates, and challenges effectively to stakeholders and senior management.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure resource optimization.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a technology or software development environment (5+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or MS Project.
- PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced NYC environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
